Free Girls Dress Pattern: Wee Wander Dress

Easter Sunday is next week and I know we all like to sew pretty dresses for our girls. If you haven’t sewn one yet you are not too late, here is a FREE girls dress pattern that is easy to make and I’m sure you are going to like.

The Wee Wander Dress FREE pattern was published in the Sarah Jane website.

This pattern is a classic design that can be used for different occasions,  Your girl can dress up or down depending on the fabric that you use. It can be sewn using contrasting colors and many kinds of fabrics.

The fabric used in the dress on the picture above is from the Wee Wander collection by Michael Miller.

Your fabric options are unlimited.  Here are some ideas to select the style and fabrics for your girl’s dress:

Contrasting Floral prints are ideal for spring and a cute belt will also look great in this model.

These floral fabrics look beautiful!

Solid fabric with some texture and floral details will make a gorgeous little dress.  These details are not hard to make and can make a huge difference.

Layer lace or tulle over solid fabrics for a formal look. The dress will look great in traditional neutrals but I would make it in bold colors like this one:
