I listed 10 FREE Plus size summer dress patterns that I found online and ideas in how you can use them. The patterns and tutorials linked in this post are available in plus sizes. These dresses are easy to sew and you’ll look fantastic this summer.
At the end of the post I also added the link to other plus size sewing resources.
For hot summers, use cotton or natural fiber fabrics. These fabrics are breathable and are more comfortable.
Some patterns are from the Russian page Porrivan. To download, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the link above their ad. You can use your translator to read the page in English.

1. Cross Front Dress
Show off your curves with this modern cross front dress. Use knit fabric and use it off the shoulder for a complete different look. Classic colors like this black are great options, but you can also sew this dress in colorful fabrics or prints.

Use light weight fabrics to sew a V Neck dress like this one. It has slightly crossed V neck and some folds to enhance the bust. There are two patterns from the Russian website porrivan.ru. Maxi Dresses are comfortable to wear and are perfect for summer. You can use this pattern from Porrivian to sew a dress like this one. Just lengthen the skirt. From a mini to a maxi, you can adjust the length of the skirt as you prefer.

A Handkerchief Hem Dress like this one looks fashionable and the best part it is super easy to sew. You can probably make it under one hour. It is basically two square pieces of fabrics held together by two thin straps. A tutorial for this style of dress was published on Blithe Stitches.

5. Ruby Dress
The Ruby Dress’ basic silhouette is very popular for many dress styles. For summer, use lightweight and stretch fabrics. You can use solids, prints, or contrasting fabrics as shown in this picture. This model looks youthful and it is easy to sew.

Another simple silhouette that is suitable for plus size figure and perfect for summer is the Skater Dress. You can find the tutorial to make this dress in The Q Effectz blog. Use stripes for a look like this one.

This Marilyn Monroe style Halter Dress is suitable for all figures. The plus size pattern in sizes 42 and 48 (12 and 18) is available in Materials Tell 4 All. Use a tropical print like this one, or a solid color if you want a more sophisticated look.

8. Sweetheart Neckline Dress
Believe or not, strapless dresses are very flattering for curvy women. Use cotton or linen in solid or floral fabrics like the ones shown in this picture. There is a pattern in M-Sewing for a Sweetheart Neckline Dress, but it is available only in small and medium. You can grade it up to fit your size or you can draft your sweetheart bodice with this BurdaStyle Tutorial.
You can complement your bodice a circle skirt or a gathered skirt.

9. Off the Shoulder Dress
For big breasted women, off the shoulder dresses are very flattering! you can sew a look like this one using this FREE pattern published in Porrivan. The pattern is available in sizes 40, 42, 44, and 46. (10 – 16). You can easily adjust it if you need a larger size.

10. Cowl Neck Dress
This flattering cowl neck dress is another great option for plus size figures. You can use the Eva Dress Pattern to sew this look. It is available in plus sizes 46 and 48 (18 and 20). A sleeveless cowl neck pattern is available on the Russian website Porrivan. This pattern is available in European sizes 46, 48, 50, and 52 (about 16-22).

Your patterns are in Russian or some other language so why are you even showing up on google search in english? I find this very rude. You are not helping anyone.
