The Sweet Pea Saddle Bag is a FREE Pattern  from Blue Calla. This adorable cross body bag is perfect for children or adults who want a smaller sized bag for essentials. It is a simple, easy sew – one zippered pocket on the inside and a flap closure with instructions for an optional decorative tassel on the flap.

The finished measurements are:

  • Width: 8 inches
  • Height: 6.25 inches
  • Depth: 2.5 inches

I made my version of this cute bag using Waterproof Canvas and Black and Silver Cork.   I made the tassel and for the strap I used webbing.

I used cotton for the lining and nylon metallic zipper for the zipper pocket. These zippers look like metal and can be used for interior pockets and also for the exterior pockets or bag closures. Sign up below to receive 10% OFF your first Nylon Metallic Zipper order.
